The Ansley Glass House is situated in an historic downtown neighborhood in Atlanta, and is perched among the trees with direct views to the immediate city skyline. This spatial arrangement of this residence, with its dark color domination is in desolate contrast to the historic front half environment. The use of large windows as cladding material sets up a permeable boundary between the house and its surrounding context and provides the house with abundant natural daylight and unobstructed views.

Architect Bevk Perovic completed this modern house in Ljubljana, Slovenia and named it as House D. The concept of the house is intended to fulfill a certain lifestyle desired by the clients. Too many facilities required to be provided in a relatively small area, and the solution is to allocate the large part of the house in the underground.
